The Multi-Talented Creator & Video Vixen
Ladyfair was so much more than a model; she was a brilliant Digital Creator and a captivating Video Vixen. She was a professional through and through, notably bringing her talent to music videos alongside stars like Entle Mkhwanazi.
Her presence wasn’t just about a “look”; it was about her intelligence and her voice. A proud alumna of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), she was a scholar who moved effortlessly between English, Sesotho, and French. This linguistic flair and her academic background gave her a unique perspective that she brought into every creative concept we developed during our years of collaboration.
The Sisterhood: Ladyfair, Kupi, and Jessica
Some of my favorite memories aren’t solo shoots, but the sessions featuring the “trio”: Ladyfair, Kupi, and Jessica. They were more than just models; they were a sisterhood. Whether we were in the studio or by the pool, the atmosphere was electric. I’ll never forget how they cheered each other on. There was no ego—just pure-hearted joy and friends acting like “normal people” having fun in the water.
The Artistic Spectrum: From High Fashion to Pure Form
Ladyfair helped me develop the very identity of FNEL Photography. Using my Canon 5D, we explored the human form through every artistic lens:
Fashion & Portraits: From elegant dress fashion to the relaxed energy of casual wear.
Implied, Bikini & Lingerie: These sessions were about confidence and the “Born Art” philosophy—showing her pride in her naturally curvy body.
The Baby Powder Experiment: Pure chaos and joy. We would count down—one, two, three!—and as she moved, the powder would fly everywhere, capturing raw energy in mid-air.
Body Jewelry & Low-Key: Using intricate jewelry in low-key sets, letting the light catch metallic details against her skin.
Artistic Nude & Bodyscapes: Celebrating her form with total honesty, whether in the studio or the raw, natural world.
The Silhouette: A close-up portrait using the 50mm lens that captured her deep in thought and calm.
The Lens Kit: We rotated between the intimate 50mm, the storytelling Sigma 35mm, and the sharp detail of the Tamron 90mm for those fine textures.
A Heart of Gold
Ladyfair was pure-hearted. She spoke her mind, gave her honest opinion, and filled every room with laughter. She was proud of who she was—inside and out—and she was especially proud of the heart she carried. She taught me that as an artist, my job isn’t just to capture a form; it’s to capture a soul that speaks many languages but one universal truth: be proud of who you are.

Losing Ladyfair to suicide is a heavy silence. It’s a reminder to check on the ones who cheer the loudest. Ladyfair, you were a gift to the creative world, a scholar, a creator, and a treasure. You are forever a part of the art. Rest in Peace.
